Meeting with Chiefs and youth Leaders on the health needs of IDPs in the Wabane health district.

Wabane health district is one of the 19 health district in the South West Region of Cameroon that is heavily affected by the anglophone crisis with enormous health challenges following closure of most health facilities and lack of health personnels to offer basic healthcare to the population.

The FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION is working in collaboration with the district health service to offer quality health care to the population through a series of health campaigns to be organized.

Remote community with financial difficulties affecting most of the household. FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION is ready to work with partners to support us to be able to reach out to the health needs of the population of Wabane. The Wabane Community is characterize by very difficult topography such that we have many communities that children uder five years of age have never received routine vaccines. Staff of FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION are ready to cover the gap by working with partners who can assist us both materially and financially.

The children are in need of basic health care as well as clothings from the findings of the staff of FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION.

An IDP Child found by FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION on a trip to wabane to assess the health need of the population. Child is suffering from severe scalp and skin infection and yet not on any treatment because of lack of finance to purchase medications. FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION is here to fill in that gap by providing free treatment to all children in this locality free of charge.

a case of Strangulated Inguinal Hernia

Picture showing a case of Strangulated Inguinal Hernia that the team of FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION found in the field during our trip of accessing the health needs of the population of Wabane. The patient was in severe pains and we conducted a surgery under local anaesthesia together with the available materials we had.

The surgery was successful and the patient is alive and strong continuing with his normal day to day activities.

The foundation is calling on partners to assist the Foundation with Material and Financial support to be able to carry out more life saving procedures in Wabane.

A child with massive ascites in Wabane

This is the case of a child discovered in Wabane by the FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION. This child has massive ascites ( accumulation of fluid in the abdomen) and has been suffering with this condition for several years until we met him. The foundation sponsored the evacuation of the child to Bamenda Regional Hospital and followed up the treatment of the child while taking care of all the bills through donations from partners and well wishers. He underwent a major operation with removal of a massive cyst and paste like materials which were implicated in the production of fluid which accumulated in the child abdomen as shown below.

After Surgery

The pictures shows the findings after surgery of our wonder child. FUNAZI NAJONG FOUNDATION wish to appreciate all those who assisted financially and materially  through the FOUNDATION in helping this poor child regain normal life. We seek for more donations to enable us continue with our humanitarian activities of helping the Poor and the Vulnerable.
